After finishing our hike in Fisterra yesterday, I thought that all of the excitement was over. This morning we caught the milk-run bus back to Santiago, which took about 4 hours and showed some different angles of the scenery we saw while on foot. When we checked in to our hotel, we were shown to our garden rooms with a view you don't get everyday. There is a festival going on, but we were not expecting as much action as we saw tonight. Following our ears we ended up at an outdoor concert, and then after leaving that venue we saw people running and heard more music - we arrived at the cathedral just in time to see an amazing fireworks display, right above our heads. It is after one in the morning and the magnificent light show is still going on.
