More water in the view

Another 80 mm and counting, this time the Creek rose high enough to see from a 1st floor window. My efforts to protect the foundation by installing 5 yards of topsoil seemed to help for awhile but then it was back to bailing the window wells (aka water traps). Just too much saturation from all the rain, the poor ground is sodden.
Do you know how much 5 yards of dirt weighs? Had I known the answer earlier, I may have re-thought the process to move the pile the dump truck left me. Hoping someone out there might dispute my calculations that I moved just shy of 10000 pounds of dirt using a small resin wheelbarrow and a girlie sized shovel. Let's put a positive spin on this: all the hard labour should serve me well on our amble in Spain. On the 18th we board the plane, bound for Madrid.
